Miqo'te Sprout

Why I chose this costume:

I've known about this game for a while, but I finally started playing it a little before starting this cosplay! I immediately fell in love with the very first design I even saw, which I decided to make. It was simple enough to introduce me to the community as a new member, but also adorable and recognizable.

How I made this costume:

When looking for resources online, there may not have been a pattern, but there was an abundance of YouTube videos covering how to make this cosplay! I ended up roughly following Kamui Cosplay's video with some changes.

I patterned and sewed all the fabric pieces myself, ears and tail were borrowed from Powy Cosplay and 3D print files were made for me by Cerkl Creations.

Final Thoughts:

I only ended up wearing this for a short time at HolMat due to some issues with the ears, but the rest of the costume was comfy and cute, so I plan to give her a little upgrade- maybe this summer!

I had such a fun time at the Final Fantasy XIV meetup and everyone thought my little sprout was adorable. Everyone was so nice and talented, and I can't wait for my next XIV cosplay!
