Why I chose this costume:
I adored this design when I first saw it in the game, and when two friends mentioned planning to do photos with Tifa and Aerith's dresses, I got inspired. I haven't done much in the realm of this type of dress so it was a very fun learning experience!
How I made this costume:
I spent ages finding just the right fabrics for this! The blue/violet on the bodice corset took 2 months to find but I knew right away it was the one. It ended up being raw silk, which was also a new sewing experience for me and it went well after some practice.

The rest was mostly draping fabrics for the skirts and working with the smaller embellishments. A few details were vague in references so I took some creative liberties on this one!
Final Thoughts:
As soon as I put it all on for the first time I fell in love! It turned out exactly how I wanted it to and I am really proud of the result.
